There is a huge case coming up to the Supreme Court…

A case that might potentially be as big as Brown v. Board of Ed. is likely to be heard by the U.S. Supreme Court. If the Supreme Court hears it and decides on it, then whatever they decide will be made the National Law on Gay Marriage.

-Proposition 8, according to the Constitution is unlawful. This society is based not on a theocracy, but a democracy. It would only be legal for all people to receive equal protection under the law, married gay or not, or equal jurisprudence does not exist for all. Since this is a nation based on the principals of the constitution, which upholds the value of marriage between two partners, then the Supreme Court should blindly take note of this.

If this case goes to the Supreme Court and it makes gay marriage legal, its going to make history because thanks to them a lot of people of the same sex will be allow to get married now and in the future. Right now a lot of people are not allow to get married with someone of the same sex because it’s consider illegal but if the supreme court decides it to make it legal then a lot if things will change in this society. Nobody has the right to prevent you happiness and I think people of the same gender should be allow to get married because it’s their lives and their happiness.

I think that these kinds of prejudices among the people make the opposition and conflicts exist. The marriage between people of the same gender should be approved and legalized by Congress not only the U.S. but around the world so discrimination towards these people can disappear. I think many people do not agree to approve this sort of thing because they do not know much about the this conflict, and ignorance of not knowing the issue greatly affects the reform to gay marriage.

I believe that this will make history. Many citizens of the united states will become very happy if same-sex marriage becomes unbanned. Im pretty sure there are tons of couples out there like Sandra Stier and Kristin Perry that want to become married but they cant because there state doesnt allow it. Same sex marriage should be allowed because people shouldnt be told who to love. It is like they are choosing the type of person you can love. Even though California banned gay marriage, it didnt stop this couple from having kids and being together for 8 years.

I hope they don’t make gay marriage illegal I believe if you love each other no matter what gender you are you have the right to get married.Since they’ve been commited for so long and already have a family. Why should a married couple be only male and female, right?Kristin Perry and Sandra Stier will change the lives of many happy gay couples if they win thanks to them they are going to make history

I believe that gay marriage should be allowed. The courts can’t tell a couple who they can be happy with. There are many couples out there from the same gender who are happy with each other but lack the one thing they desire which is to get married. The court cant deny a person the right to happiness and their happiness includes gay marriage. Hopefully the US soon allows gay marriage to be constitutional.

I believe that banning Gay Marriage is unconstitutional because its violating a persons equal protection under the law. Kristin Perry and Sandra Stier have been together for 8 years and already have 4 kids, why is it that they cant have the right to get married. If people don’t like the concept of homosexuality, that doesn’t mean that those people have to enforce the prohibition of gay marriage. I bet they wouldn’t like it if they weren’t allowed to get married with the one they loved. It’s the same thing, in a way, as years ago when colored people weren’t treated the same as whites; and were even slaves. This case isn’t AS severe as that but if the US enforced laws to stop segregation they can make a law where Gay Marriage is allowed.

I think that if your happy with somebody of the same sex you should do what u want to desire.”Perry and Stier, along with Jeffrey Zarrillo and Paul Katami, of Los Angeles, are the two couples at the heart of the case, arguing that California’s ban on gay marriage is unconstitutional”.I just think let them do what they desire and let them be happy and either way the case will likely head to the U.S. Supreme Court no matter what the outcome.Society for years to come and result in a landmark court decision that settles whether Americans can marry people of the same sex.

Even the Mexican court justice think that people who want to marry people of the same sex is ok. If you are happy with someone & that someone just happens to be a person of your same sex, who are the courts to say they can’t be happy. Relationship, marriage & all that monogamy mumbo jumbo isn’t even part of human life, we just inforce it. Just because the couple that want to wed aren’t a traditional husband & wife, who cares, why are you going to rain on their parade.
