    My Council member which is Chief of Staff is called Julissa Ferreras.
    Julissa Ferreras is a Democratic member of the New York City Council residing in and representing the 21st district of Queens, which includes Elmhurst, Corona, East Elmhurst, and Jackson Heights. Julissa went on to become the New York Director of the National Association of Latino Elected Officials for two years. However, she later returned as Chief of Staff once again to continue her relentless work for the betterment of District 21 and the community at large.

    My council member is Eric Ulrich for district #32. He grew up in Ozone Park, queens which is right next to howard beach. He still has active membership in the Knights of Columbus, Kiwanis Club of Howard Beach, National Political Science Honor Society-Pi Sigma Alpha, and the 102nd Police Precinct Community Council. Erich Ulcher is the youngest serving in the city council.

    I live in East Elmhurst and my council member is Julissa Ferreras. She is a Democrat that represents District 21. she has the responsibilities of health care, education, immigration, redevelopment, public safety, and helped businesses. She works in direct contact with the community to address these issues efficiently.

    My council member is Julissa Ferreras. She works for (represents) Corona, Elmhurst, and East Elmhurst. Committed to help the Hispanic community she is trying to help out with public safety, education, immigration, and health care.

    My local council member is Julissa Ferreras. Julissa is Dominican-American when she was only 14 years old city council Helen Marshall appointed Julissa to serve on the Corona Youth Council. Where she started the youth employment program. She also entered the workforece as assistant director of the community conciliation network in Corona. Then she became the Beacon director at P.S. 19 in Corona. Where she helped a lot of people. Julissa is trying to help our coummity become a better one for children.

    My local council member Julissa Ferreras she is Dominican-American she has grown up in Jackson Heights, Julissa now lives in Corona. A Council Member of the 21st City Council District, Julissa became instrumental in the successful campaign of the first Latino elected official in Queens, as campaign manager for Hiram Monserrate in 2001. Julissa joined Monserrate as his Chief of Staff for the next four years, working on many community issues such as education, immigration, health care, public safety, redevelopment and business empowerment. she also holds a board position with the Dominican National Roundtable and has served on the board for the National Dominican Wheelchair Foundation. She has also served on boards for Renaissance Music and Sports, as well as Elmcor. She currently serves on the board of Neighborhood Housing Services.

    The council of the 21st district, which consist of four neighborhoods, Jackson Heights, Corona, East Elmhurst and Elmhurst is Julissa Ferreras. She is in charge of helping our communities to become better day by day. Also she is involved in the health and immigration reforms, to help the people to become part of the United States and to let them have a good insure program.

    My local council is Julissa ferreras. she runs the city council in the 21st district which is elmhurts,east elmhurst,corona,and Jackson heights.As the city council some of the responsibility is to help our community become safe,schools,helps immigrants become citizen,heath care. Julissa has tried to help the community for a long time ago before she was elected to be district 21 council.

    My council member is Julissa Ferreras. She represents the 21st District which includes Jackson Heights, Corona, Elmhurst, and East Elmhurst. She has worked in the following community issues listed which include education, immigration, health care, public safety, redevelopment and business empowerment. Julissa Ferreras responsibilities include working with the people she represents and have direct involvement in our needs.

    My Local council member is Diana Reyna.
    District 34 – Council Member – Democrat.
    She trying to create quality jobs in the community, bringing economic development funding and assistance to local businesses.
    Reyna was born and raised in Williamsburg and now lives in Bushwick with her husband, a sergeant in the New York City Police Department. Reyna is the first woman of Dominican descent elected to office in New York State. She attended the Transfiguration School in Williamsburg and Pace University in Pleasantville, New York.

    My local council member is Julissa Ferreras. She is a Democrat that represents District 21. She helps to better the communities of Corona, East Elmhurst, Elmhurst and Jackson heights. She has directed issues of these neighborhoods on health care, education, immigration, redevelopment, public safety, and helped businesses. She works in direct contact with the community to address these issues at hand.

    My local council member is Julissa Ferreras. She is not only the council member of East Elmhurst but also Corona, Jackson Heights and Elmhurst. She started as Assistant Director of the Community Conciliation Network in Corona and then became the Beacon director at P.S. 19. A couple of things she worked on is education, immigrants, Health care, public safety, redevelopment and business empowerment.

    My local city council member is Julissa Ferreras. She represents Corona, Jackson Heights, East Elmhurst and Elmhurst. She has worked in the beacon program in elementary schools which is an afterschool program that offers help in homewrok and many other things. She is devoted in helping the hispanic communtiy.

    Julissa Ferreras is the local council member.Julissa Ferreras of District 21 works on Corona, Jackson Heights, Elmhurst and Eat Elmhurst.She said she’ll fight for housing and child care for all in her district, and the presence of more Latinos in the Police and more opportunities for women and youngsters.

    My Council member is Eric Ulrich.On February 24th 2009, Eric Ulrich won the City Council Special Election in District #32 (Ozone Park).
    The principal job of a city council is to make policy. A policy is a course of action for a community. Policy-making often takes the form of passing resolutions.
    He is a republican.

    Julissa Ferreras is the Chief local council member. She works toward bettering the hispanic community. She works towards bettering schools (education), immigration, health care, etc. Local council members work more directly with us, then the mayor, governor, senators, & president do.

    My Council member which is Chief of Staff is called Julissa Ferreras. She is Dominican-American and was Chief of Staff before as well. She works to better our community(District 21), which consists of Corona, Jackson Heights, Elmhurst, and East Elmhurst. She works on many community issues such as education, immigration, health care, public safety, redevelopment and business empowerment. She works a lot for the latino community.
